The Megaleather body is a strong piece of ranged armour, offering great protection against magic attacks. It requires 80 Ranged and 80 Defence. 89 Crafting and 5 Megamastyx hides are required to make this. An upgraded Ring of kinship (artisan) can potentially lower this. Rarely, the body may be dropped by level 84 Forgotten Rangers, along with gorgonite arrows and any of their other armour or bow.
Creating This Item
- Obtain 5 pieces of Megamastyx hide, which can be obtained by trapping an megamastyx or by buying them from the smuggler (although that is very expensive).
- Obtain a needle and some thread either from buying them from the smuggler or my some other method.
- Use the needle on one of the hides and choose to create a Megaleather body.
