Prosecution

To successfully prosecute Party Pete, follow these steps before entering the courtroom:

  • Read through the two case reports.
  • Interview Ikis Krum, located in the courthouse. Go through all the chat options.
  • Interview Party Pete, located in the courthouse. Go through all the chat options.
  • Interview Megan, located in the courthouse. Go through all the chat options.
  • Use the viewing orb to get to the crime scene (the Party Room).
  • Use the Bat-in-a-box (inside the party room, not outside).
  • Use the magnifying glass on the magical amplifier (gramophone).
  • Match the fingerprint.
  • Leave the crime scene.

Then go into the courtroom below. Follow these steps:

  • Present the magical amplifier as evidence. Say "The volume was turned up to maximum."
  • Present the bat-in-a-box as evidence. Say "This tool showed sound levels to be too high."
  • Call Krum to the stand. Ask him about "The noise."
  • Call Party Pete to the stand. Ask him about "The noise."
  • Call Megan to the stand. Ask her about "The noise."
  • Direct the closing statement at the elderly citizen.

Defence

To successfully defend Party Pete, follow these steps before entering the courtroom:

  • Read through the two case reports.
  • Interview Ikis Krum, located in the courthouse. Go through all the chat options.
  • Interview Party Pete, located in the courthouse. Go through all the chat options.
  • Interview Megan, located in the courthouse. Go through all the chat options.
  • Use the viewing orb to get to the crime scene (the Party Room).
  • Go to Krum's house with the open door located south of the party room and use the Bat-in-a-box next to him upstairs to determine there is little noise.
  • Use the magnifying glass on the magical amplifier (gramophone).
  • Match the fingerprint to Ikis Krum.
  • Leave the crime scene by using the orb.

Then go into the courtroom below. Follow these steps:

  • Present the fingerprint as evidence. This will only be successful if the print was identified.
  • Present Bat-in-a-box as evidence. Say "This shows the sound levels to be at normal level."
  • Present the magical amplifier as evidence. Say "Ikis Krum's fingerprint was on it."
  • Call Party Pete to the stand. Ask him about "Your neighbour."
  • Direct the closing statement at the young man.
