PM is an acronym that may refer to any of the following:

• Private Message (the most common usage of the abbreviation), which is what the sending and receiving of messages with other players through the friend list chat system is called
• Player moderator, players who given special privileges along with accompanying responsibilities by Jagex as they have proved themselves of the type of character to help facilitate fair and balanced game play amongst players
• Pirates' Hideout mining site, commonly known as the Pirate Mine
