The New Order Occult Bookists or NOOB is a small society found within the Wizards' Guild that study magic from old tomes. Currently, not much is known of this society except that the deceased wizard Clarence was a member.

In the God Wars Dungeon, a man and orc can be found frozen in an eternal struggle and in front of them, carved in the ice are the letters "N" "O" "O" "B". It is unknown though if this is in reference to the Order, or just the fact that the orc/man is a noob. Some think that the New Order Occult Bookists are going to be in a quest, but it is more likely to be just a "joke" on "noob", as Jagex threw many pranks like this before. (e.g. the famous 'dragon kite'.)
