Muncher was the Grim Reaper's pet found in his mansion during the 2007 Hallowe'en event and the 2009 Hallowe'en event, and got a brief role in the 2010 Hallowe'en event and the 2011 Hallowe'en event.
In the 2007 event, he was seen sleeping in the corner of the Grim Reaper's office. Players could only examine him and he couldn't be attacked or attack. For the 2009 event, Muncher was awake and played a part in the event where players had to calm him down in order to complete the mini-quest involved with the event. In the 2011 event, he was seen guarding the Grim Reaper's tent and would scare players away when they tried entering the tent.
He was also known as the "Beast of the Night" and "Chewer of Misplaced Soft Toys and Home Furnishings", as well as the "Devourer of Souls and Dog Biscuits".
Options
When players interacted with him during the 2009 event, they were presented with the following options:
- Stroke him
- Try to entertain him
- Blow a raspberry at him
If players blew a raspberry at Muncher, he would kill them instantly. However, they would respawn in the main reception hall of the mansion without losing any items. This was only available during the 2009 Hallowe'en event.
Habitat
He can now be found in the office of the Grim Reaper. He can be found by dying for the first time; he'll be sleeping in the right-hand corner.
Trivia
- He used to look identical to the Skeleton Hellhound before his graphical update for the 2011 Hallowe'en event.
- After completion of the 2011 Hallowe'en event, you are able to pet him.
