Morrigan's javelin is a part of the Morrigan's Equipment, obtained from killing Revenants in the Forinthry Dungeon and as a very rare drop from the Chaos Elemental. It appears in two versions: "regular" and corrupted. 78 Ranged is needed to use this weapon.
If players receive this as a drop, they are strongly recommended to bank as you will lose all but two (or one/none at all), depending on what other items that are currently greater then the javelins if you die.
Only the normal version javelin has a special attack called Phantom strike which "inflicts continuous damage in the same way that poison does". However, the "poison" is much more faster, and has a similar effect to the Dragon claws, but is a little bit slower. For example, if you hit a 381, it would deal 50, 50, 50, 50, 50 ,50, 50, 31 unblockable damage onto the player. You cannot use the special against enemy units. This attack withdraws 50% from the special attack bar.
The ratio of losing a javelin after shooting is approximately 1:5, but this is rumoured to be decreased gradually with an increase in the player's Ranged level.

Poisoned javelins
In addition, both versions can be poisoned with poison, such as weapon poison, extra strong weapon poison, and super strong weapon poison. Poisoning the javelin with these poisons adds the (p), (p+), and (p++) suffixes, respectively. The poison damage is equal to that of a melee weapon. (so 68 for p++ javelin, similar to dragon dagger (p++).
