| Iron ore is an item always in demand, due to its use in Smithing iron bars.
There are many locations to mine iron ore, but probably the best free-to-play method is mining in the Dwarven Mines. There are three iron rocks very close together, and a bank deposit box inside the resource dungeon. First, go to the ore location and start mining the ores. Once you have a full inventory go into the resource dungeon, where there is a deposit box next to the entrance. Deposit your iron, exit the dungeon, and repeat. You will also find uncut gems while mining, which can increase your profit. | |
