Mercenaries are the personal guards of Captain Siad, the head of the Desert Mining Camp. The four of them are led by a Mercenary Captain and their duty is to protect said captain and the entrance to the camp. They will attack the player if he is wielding a weapon or wearing armour outside the Mining Camp, a task fulfilled by guards inside the camp.
Some appear to be wielding a Fremennik round shield, Machete, Coif, Leather body, Brass necklace, and Wood camo legs.
