Medium jungle

Template:Infobox Tree Medium jungle is one of the three types of jungle, along with light jungle and dense jungle. It can be cut with a machete at level 20 Woodcutting, giving 55 experience, and does not yield any logs. Instead, it yields Thatch spar med, which are used in the Tai Bwo Wannai Cleanup activity. While cutting these you should be aware that various monsters such as level 60 Tribesmen can sometimes appear and attack you.

Thatch spars are used to repair or reinforce the Tai Bwo Wannai fence. Alternately, using a machete on a thatch spar will turn it into skewer sticks. Skewer sticks are used on a spider carcass as a step in preparing spider on a stick.

While clearing away the jungle, your character will occasionally make a brief pause as if "taking a breather," indicating that clearing medium jungle might be hard work.
