The Volatile clay hammer is one of the possible tools that the Volatile Tool can transform into. The hammer gives a 220% experience bonus in the Smithing or Construction skill.
It can be obtained in the activity Stealing Creation by purchasing the Volatile Tool for 20 Stealing Creation points. The major drawback of using Volatile Sacred Clay tools is that they change at random into another tool. The player may choose the 'revert' option costing 10% of its charge, but doesn't guarantee giving the desired tool, for this reason Sacred clay hammers are recommended for training instead unless you planning to train the skill in tandem with others.
