Marius Giste is one of the archeologists inside the Varrock Museum in Varrock. Though he can be seen in free worlds, he can only be spoken to in members.
When you have an item cleaned, you can give the item to him to obtain various rewards. Most notably Kudos (only for certain items, one time only) and experience lamps. You will need to have a certain number of Kudos to travel to the island near Morytania when the barge is finished.
He also give items that may prove to be useful for the shattered heart distraction and diversion
