A Mahogany table can be built in the table hotspot of the Dining Room in a player-owned house. It requires 52 Construction and 6 mahogany planks to build. When built, it earns the player 840 experience.

Mahogany tables are sometimes built using the Sacred clay hammer obtained from the activity Stealing Creation; these double the amount of experience and save money. At current Grand Exchange prices, it costs coins to build a Mahogany table. This is coins/XP (without a Sacred clay hammer).

Mahogany tables are currently one of the fastest methods to train construction at a reasonable cost and efficiency rating. Some players are able to get nearly 800,000 experience an hour with the use of mousekeys combined with great concentration and speed. The tables yield around 350,000-500,000 experience per hour for those who are not 100% focused on building.
