A Mahogany pet house is built in the Menagerie room of a player owned house. It is built in the top right corner if facing North to the room. Up to 10 Adult pets can be held inside. Building it requires 67 Construction and 4 mahogany planks for the materials. A player must first build a Teak pet house to upgrade into a Mahogany pet house, to be able to make a teak one the player must already have an oak pet house. A while ago a Mahogany pet feeder was also required on top of a Teak pet house, it seems that this is no longer the case and is no longer needed also (you WILL need both feeder and house to store 10 pets. If you only have the house, it will hold 6 pets like the teak pet house until you upgrade feeder too). However, the house will only hold as many pets as the feeder can feed.
A gold leaf IS required due to the house having gilded frames, as well as there being a few golden trimmed parts around the outside. Clockwork Cats can be stored in all pet houses.
