The Black Cat is a non-player character encountered during the Black Knights' Fortress quest. It can be seen in an inaccessible room in the The Black Knights' Fortress near Ice Mountain. It is the cat of Lensig, a witch currently serving the Kinshra.
Trivia
- Originally, the black cat was referred to as "Witch's cat," a character also encountered in the Underground Pass in West Ardougne. Along with the rework of the Black Knights' Fortress quest, the witch's cat's name was changed to simply "Black cat".
- The cat's name is, apparently, Maemi, as further listening at the grill reveals, in which Lensig takes offence at Maemi being referred to simply as "the cat" by the Black Knight Captain.
- This cat cannot be understood whilst wearing a catspeak amulet.
- It is probably a reference to the fact that black cats are commonly associated with witches.
