The Waste-paper basket is a quest item from While Guthix Sleeps. Searching it while in the player's inventory leads to obtaining a ruby key. This destroys the basket.
Options
- Look-at: You check through anyway; but only see paperwork regarding tedious, everyday details.
- Pick-up: You pick up the waste-paper basket.
- Look-at (when in inventory): It looks like an ordinary waste-paper basket.
- Search (when in inventory): You search the waste-paper basket and find a small key with a tiny ruby embedded into it. The basket is shredded in the process.
- The basket respawns but searching again after obtaining a ruby key: You search the basket, but find nothing.
