Citharede symbol is an equipable reward from the One Piercing Note. When worn with the rest of the Citharede robes, it will restore prayer points when listening to a musician.
The Citharede Symbol is similar to the Holy symbol: it gives the same Prayer bonus (+8), but it does not give the defensive bonuses (all +2, +3 for summoning).
This symbol can be used as protection from Saradomin followers in the God Wars Dungeon. It will also change your appearance in Castle Wars if you enter a Zamorak or Guthix portal (along with the other robe items).

Trivia
- The symbol is the star of Saradomin overlaying a cithara, symbolizing the importance of music to the Abbey.
- During the quest, it is used to make a dummy to trap the killer.
