Ire of Phyrrys Festival
The Ire of Phyrrys Festival was a forum community event done in order to celebrate the longest month in the Gielinor calendar. Jagex have decided to run a week of events during the week of 22nd to 25 September 2010. The event was hosted on the RuneScape Official Forums by the Finnish, Polish and English communities. The two JaGex moderators running and over-seeing (in-game) the events were Mod Karolina and Mod Hiisi from Community Management.
Culinary expedition to Tree Gnome Stronghold.
This event was hosted on Wednesday the 22nd of September 2010. The activities hosted on this day included a friendly competition to see who’s was master of Gnomish cuisine, including a competition to see who could cook the most dishes and who was the true master of cocktails. Players also did the agility course found in the nearby training camp in the Stronghold. If players were lucky, they even found the Evil Tree that spawned in Draynor. The day was ended with a nice and relaxing little meal gathering at Gianne’s Restaurant.

A grand expedition from Lumbridge to Al Kharid
This event was hosted on Thursday the 23rd of September 2010. The event started with player meeting at Lumbridge Castle and then making their way to the Duel Arena, west of Al Kharid. The activities in Al Kharid included duelling in the arena, kebab tasting and a drinking in the local pubs. Jagex advised players to bring their desert kit and bring water as they crossed were crossing the desert. It was rumoured ( please add "and confimed" if proved) the elusive JMods were keen on hide & seek and would be like mirages and just disappear into the desert so Jagex told players to keep a sharp eye out for any irregularities.

Woodcutting extravaganza
This event was hosted on Friday the 24th of September. The woodcutting extravaganza took place in Edgeville! Jagex, along with the help of players, tried to "1-up the good ole mother nature" by trying to take a screenshot of an entirely cut wood area with just stumps left.
The day was finished with a march to the Clan Wars arena where the lumberjacks were pitted against each other in a traditional Clan Wars match. The first match was won by Mod Hiisi with the score being 195 - 190. Shortly after, due to requests by the players, a re-match shortly followed in which this time Mod Karolina won with a score of 185 - 178.

The Grand Finale
The Grand Finale of the Ire of Phyrrys Festival was kicked off with a line of fire from Lumbridge to Varrock. Once the line of fire got to Varrock square, Jagex opened a firemaking pattern competition by the Cooks' Guild where players got to show off your creative skills. All patterns had to be able to fit into a single screen. The winner (winners name here) became instantly famous and was featured on RuneScape social networking sites (Facebook, Twitter, etc.). with a grand firemaking show in which Jagex and players attempted to represent their communities with a few well placed fires. There was also meant to be a cabbage bomb fight on World 2 at the Grand Exchange, but because players didn't "world hop" to world 2, it happened on world 19. It was also done this way to allow non-members to participate. There was then an "After Party" on world 102 at the Falador Party Room, but the event was partly ruined by spammers. To stop this happening again, Mod Karolina then decided to send the people in her friend's chat to Mudskipper Point on world 19, in which players got to ask her questions about the game as well as give her suggestions. The event and the week of events was finished off when Mod Karolina left around 18:40GMT thus bringing the Ire of Phyrrys festival to an end.
