International Castle Wars Tournament
The International Castle Wars Tournament was announced on 9 August 2010. It took place from 14 August 2010 to 4 September 2010. The English forum thread (QFC: 42-43-624-61410984 (Thread)) features a full length description of what will happen and who will fight who. There are four groups. The competition is notable for the hijacking of several teams (notably the Australian Spanish Community and Global Stars teams) by a group known as the Castle Wars Community, aiming to gain Jagex's attention by demonstrating the ease with which Castle Wars can become hijacked. The Castle Wars Community had been instrumental in the 11-0 demolition of UK/Ireland and the elimination of favourites USA, as well as Canada.
