Popular Hunting Locations
- North of Varrock Castle, by the ivy an imp will respawn every couple of minutes (This is a popular imp hunting spot)
- South of Falador
- White Knight's Castle in Falador
- On the path between Lumbridge and Draynor
- Quite a few imps can be found in a dense area North of Yanille
- One imp respawns in Varrock.
- There are many imps around the volcano on Musa Point
- In the northeast part of the Grand Exchange, around the Spirit Tree, an imp will respawn every couple of minutes
- In the eastern part of the Monastery an imp will respawn every couple minutes An excellent hunting spot is around the broken cart on the lighter grass area. Combining a Ring of Kinship with Ardougne Cloak makes it easy to bank as well.
- Many imps can be found all around the Necromancer Tower, the Tower of Life, and the adjacent Monastery (Kandarin)
- The Karamja Volcano resource dungeon (requires lvl 25 dungeoneering to enter) has many imps, but Lesser demons reside inside, so a weapon and armour are recommended.
NOTE: Imps are not a good way to train hunter as they cannot be released until 2 items/stacks have been banked, making this a fairly slow method of training. A way to speed training up is to bank full imp boxes with other imp boxes while catching them, this frees up one imp box for every three imps caught. Another method to speed up training is by using a snow globe to create snowballs, and then using the imps to bank the snowballs. This however leaves many snowballs in the bank which take time to destroy. Other similar methods involve fletching bolts and using an Albino rat and scrolls to create cheese.
