'Gummy' is a builder on strike during the Tower of Life quest. During the quest, the player is required to assemble a builder's costume; the various pieces are acquired from the striking builders. Gummy explains that he was drying his trousers on a line by the shore when they went missing. Search the plants south-east of the Tower for the scruffy trousers.
Players with level 1 Thieving can pickpocket him to get a Triangle sandwich and 8 thieving experience.
His examine text reveals the reason for his nickname.
