Grapes are a Cooking ingredient. They are one of the ingredients of a jug of wine. They can be found at two respawning locations: one in the Cooks' Guild, the other in the Phoenix Gang Hideout. Grapes take about 45 seconds to respawn on a medium-sized world. They can also be stolen from the wine stall in Draynor Village. Grapes can be used on a jug of water to make a jug of wine (doing so grants 200 Cooking experience points).

At one time, they could be purchased from the Culinaromancer's Chest for a reasonable sum, but a March 2009 update tied chest prices to Grand Exchange values, effectively making the Food Store useless. Another update on 25 March 2009 restored the old prices. Grapes cannot be consumed on their own.

Locations

Making Money

Due to their relatively high value compared to their respawn time, grapes can be an easy and fast way to make money for Free-to-play players. Any player who can enter the Cooks' Guild (req. 32 Cooking or over and a chef's hat), or the Phoenix Gang Hideout can collect them from their respawn locations for a profit of around 100k coins per hour depending on the respawn time. Alternatively, players can kill Guards or Goblins and receive them as a drop. By killing Guards, a profit of 45k per hour can be made, and by killing Goblins, a profit of 20k per hour can be made. It is recommended to fight these monsters, as you gain profit while training. These can then be sold on the Grand Exchange for a profit, or they can be used to make wine for fast cooking experience.
