Gnome Institute of Knowledge

The Gnome Institute of Knowledge is a research organisation based within the Gnomish Empire. The organization is dedicated to performing both magical and scientific research to further the progress of the gnome race. The institute is only briefly mentioned several times in Gnomic Negotiations, a short story found on the official RuneScape website, and has not made an appearance in-game as of yet.

The only field of study expressly described in the story is psychology. Dr. Darius Gnomalus, who is interviewed by a human during the story, was Head of Psychology when the nppl was written several years ago. It is possible that he still holds the position today. Little else is known about the organisation.
