Fury sharks were a type of shark only obtainable as a drop from WildyWyrms. However, you could always get one when a Jagex Moderator is controlling it. Consuming one while in combat healed 230 life points, and eating one outside of combat healed 280 life points. Fury sharks additionally had the ability to protect one worn item or an item in a player's inventory for up to one minute after being consumed; the effects of this were identical to that of the Protect Item prayer, though the two effects did not stack. Consuming a fury shark had no effect on a High Risk Wilderness World as players may not keep any items they possess at the time of their death per the nature of these worlds. These have been removed from the game.
When it appeared to other players on the ground, they would see it as a normal shark.
