Footwear

Footwear is a piece of equipment that players wear on their feet, such as shoes and Boots. If no weapon is equipped the player can perform a kick attack using their feet, however having footwear equipped will not give a specific bonus to the damage done by the kicks. If no footwear is equipped the player will appear to be wearing shoes rather than going barefoot.
Boots
Boots are one type of footwear that a player can wear. There are a number of types of boots, ranging from metal boots that give defensive bonuses to coloured boots that give no bonuses.
Other footwear
Villager sandals were the only way that a player could show the skin on their feet until the Samba Sandals were released with the Members Loyalty Programme on 28 June 2011. As of now, the Samba Sandals and Bare Feet are the only footwear in the game that seemingly leave the feet bare.
Dungeoneering

While dungeoneering, you can get various kinds of dungeoneering footwear from leathers, metals, and cloths. However, it is not recommended to bind footwear in dungeoneering, as weapons, body armour, shields, and leg armour have higher bonuses than footwear of the same tier.
