The Farming patch spirit is a strange random event-like occurrence in which the only thing that players experience is a dialogue window appearing. The Farming patch spirit only appears when a player with level 15 Farming or below (even a non-member) stands idly next to a farming patch for an extended period of time. She informs low-levelled farmers that they can leave their farming patch unattended and that their crops will still grow, and she also tells players that they may visit Winkin's Farm. Ned in Draynor Village says that this mysterious entity is annoyed by people loitering near her cabbage field when he gives players the Explorer's ring 3.
