Elven Clans
The Elven Clans are an unofficially named collection of eight elven families that were brought to Gielinor through the World Gate by Seren during the First Age. The clans have, since the betrayal of Lord Iorwerth at the Battle of Prifddinas in the Year 1930 of the Fourth Age, lost much of their inter-regional significance and have become legendary in many parts of the world.
The clans were given Prifddinas upon their arrival in Gielinor by Seren, their goddess. They ruled it equally, through the Elven Council of Elders, through the Second, Third, and most of the Fourth. Since the betrayal of the Iorwerth Clan, the majority of the elven race has been forced to retreat to Isafdar and the Arandar Mountain Range.
All the elven clans can still contact Seren by using their Crystal tower. The tower contacts with the Tower of Voices, in the middle of Prifddinas.
Known Clans
Of the eight clans, only three are known to humans. Apparently the clans differ greatly in lifestyle and nature, but little of this has been made common knowledge. The remaining five have yet to be referred to by name.
