Detailed decorative equipment is a reward from the Castle Wars activity. It consists of a Detailed decorative helm, a Detailed decorative platebody, Detailed decorative platelegs, a Detailed decorative shield, and a Detailed decorative sword. When wielding the Detailed decorative shield, platebody, and platelegs in a Castle Wars match, it will give a 15% bonus to all damage on players, and a 10% increase of damage to all barricades.
Just like all of the other types of castle wars armour, using just one or two pieces of the armour gives a damage bonus. The damage bonus works as follows: Any one piece gives +6% damage, two give +9%, and the set gives 15%.
Detailed decorative platelegs were often worn along with the Varrock armour 4, seeing as there are no Tasks set platelegs and the detailed decorative platelegs went well with the armour. After the graphical to the many armour pieces and weaponry, the Varrock arrmour 4 no longer matches. Furthermore, the Morytania legs 4 have since been released, driving down the popularity of wearing them together even more.
