The Cat basket (2) is a piece of furniture that can be built in the Kitchen of a player-owned house with the Construction skill. Cats or pet rocks belonging to anyone can rest inside the basket. Placing a cat on the basket will count as if its following you. Leaving the house will make the cat follow you. Placing a Pet rock on the basket will leave it there permanently or until you pick it back up.

Building a cat basket (2) requires at least 33 Construction, 2 Planks, 2 Nails of any type and 2 Wool. When built, it gives 58 experience. Note: this requires unspun Wool, and not a Ball of Wool.
