Combat robes
Combat robes are a set of free-to-play magic armour obtained as a reward from the Fist of Guthix activity. The robes, which consist of a hood, top, and bottom, require a magic level of 20 and a defence level of 10 to wear.
These robes can be purchased from Reggie's store in the Fist of Guthix lobby for 300 Fist of Guthix tokens. While wearing a complete set of combat robes, there is a chance that the robes will supply any mind, chaos, death or blood runes used when casting a combat spell. The chances of these robes substituting mind, chaos, death or blood is 7.5%, or 3/40.
Similar to the Barrows equipment, combat robes will degrade over time, starting with 100 charges and becoming fully degraded after 100 uses. The individual components may only be traded when completely degraded. The full set of robes costs 30 Fist of Guthix tokens to recharge.
The robe top costs 50,900 coins on the Grand exchange or 150 Fist of Guthix tokens (15 to recharge). The robe bottom costs 19,400 coins on the Grand Exchange or 100 Fist of Guthix tokens (10 to recharge). The hood costs 14,200 coins on the Grand Exchange or 50 Fist of Guthix tokens (5 to recharge). The whole set would cost a total of 84,500 coins or a total of 300 Fist of Guthix tokens (30 to recharge).
Along with the Druidic mage robes, this is the only set of Magic armour available in F2P that possesses damage absorption statistics.

Trivia
- Alongside the charged Druidic robes, the charged Combat robes offer the highest magic attack bonus in free-to-play world, but noticeably, combat robes provide melee defence. Therefore, these are actually the best magic robes for free-to-play worlds, despite being half the value of Druidic robes in Reggie's store. Runecrafter robes offer much higher melee defensive bonuses, however they are not classified as "magic robes" and require 50 runecrafting to obtain, making the Combat robes much faster to get.
- It can also be argued that the Drudic Robes' ability to accurately bind opponents and not risk damage is more useful than the marginal defences provided in combat situations, although the Combat robes do offer the advantage of a chance to save runes whilst in combat.
- Even though a magical blastbox uses chaos/death runes, the set effect of full combat robes does NOT work for the blastbox. Assuming that it would have to save the air runes cast as well as the chaos/death rune.
