The Rusty casket is a quest item found by the player during the Horror from the Deep quest after killing the Dagannoth Mother.
After completing the aforementioned quest, players can take this to Jossik by going up the stairs of the lighthouse and he will tell them something is written on it. Depending on which answer they give, he will give them a damaged prayer book in one of six colours, which correspond to the six major gods of Gielinor. The pages for these books can be received from all four levels of Treasure Trails.
Should you lose this book Jossik will give you the old book back. Please note: All pages previously put in these books will still be there.
If you do not like the book you received or want more than one god book you can buy the other five from Jossik for 5,000 coins. You can then complete the books with the pages which belong to it. Below are some stats to help you make your choice.
Zamorak: Very expensive to complete compared to the others. Gives +8 in all attack stats and +5 prayer bonus. When complete it becomes an Unholy Book.
Guthix: Second most expensive to complete. It gives +4 in all defence and attack bonuses and +5 prayer bonus. When complete it becomes a Book of Balance.
Saradomin: The least expensive to complete, it is much cheaper to buy the pages than of Zamorak. Gives +8 in all defence stats and +5 prayer bonus. When complete it becomes Saradomin's holy book
