Cerberus is a dog-like monster that dwells in the entrance of the underground passageway to Canifis. He can be safespoted by the wall for Ranged and Magic, Cerberus is weak to Slash attacks and Ranged.
You are required to kill Cerberus in the Priest in Peril quest. Prior to the graphical update, Cerberus resembled the dark beast; now it looks like a guard dog. It can only be killed once, after which it is replaced by another dog named Lycurgus. Previously, trying to attack it after the quest gave you the message "I'd better not to make the King mad at me again!".

- Previously, he was named the Temple Guardian.
- Cerberus is also the name of the three-headed dog that guards the gates to the Underworld in Greek mythology.
- Cerberus's name comes from the Greek ker berethrou, meaning "Demon of The Pit".
