[view][talk]

Botros is a fictional RuneScape player involved in Court Cases. He appears to be a bot and admits that he was training away-from-keyboard (AFK) when the Drunken dwarf assaulted him. He is used as a victim during the Drunken dwarf case. He is thought to be based on the bots that were commonly seen around Runescape; this can be seen especially through his chat head, which used to be the default setting for all RuneScape characters which bots commonly did not change.

The drunken dwarf, the defendant in this court case scenario, was one of many random events put in place to help combat the number of botters. As the accuser claimed he was training away-from-keyboard, it is likely he was caught botting by the drunken dwarf.

Along with Max and 1337mage43, he is one of the few player spoofs in Runescape who can be interacted with.

Trivia

  • Although Botros is a variant of the name Peter, it is also an anagram for "robots", referencing the fact that Botros was "AFK training" (and possibly was "botting").
  • His examine text is a reference to the fact that bots usually do not reply to players.
