Blurberry is the first NPC players go to before being allowed to play the Gnome Restaurant minigame. He plays a part in the Monkey Madness quest. He is also used to get the fruit blast, the drink needed for the Recipe For Disaster quest.
He is found in the Gnome Stronghold in the Grand Tree at the bar on the first floor (the floor above ground level). When first spoken to, he would give the player a cocktail guide and provide a tutorial in which he supplies the ingredients and equipment for increasingly difficult cocktails, starting from fruit blast and up to short green guy.
He only provides the ingredients once for each drink. If the player makes a mistake, they could buy more from Heckle Funch directly east of Blurberry.
When a player calls Blurberry using the Lunar Spell NPC contact the character will prank call him which may be a reference to Bart from The Simpsons who prank calls Moe.
