The Black Knight captain is a prominent member of the Kinshra order in north-eastern Asgarnia. The captain can be seen in an inaccessible part of the The Black Knights' Fortress on Ice Mountain, alongside Greldo, a witch named Lensig, and her black cat, Maemi. When you listen through the grills, the above persons can be heard plotting to a make a potion that would assist in the destruction of the White Knights. Even in the conversation he has with the witch, the captain does not speak much. The player may also hear more of the conversation regarding the cauldron failure and sabotage at a grill in the Black Knights Headquarters (located within Black Knights' Fortress).
Because the room in which the captain is found cannot be entered, players are unable to interact with him, despite his having a talk option. His sword appears to be a slightly longer version of a steel longsword with a small black metal tip.
