The Beginner wand is the weakest of the wands, requiring 45 Magic to wield. It can be obtained by either exchanging Pizazz points at the Mage Training Arena or buying one from another player. Purchasing the beginner wand from the mage training arena requires 300 Enchantment points, and 30 Graveyard points, 30 Telekinetic points, and 30 Alchemist points. This wand is not recommended as it only gives a +5 Magic bonus, whereas a normal elemental staff e.g. Staff of Fire, would give a +10 bonus.
You can change the swirl on the wood of the wand into the colour the same shade as a player's default shoes. For instance, if a player changes their shoe colour in Rellekka to green, the wand will appear to be a brown and green swirl. This used to be changeable at the makeover mage.
