Baby icefiends are collected by the gnome Professor Arblenap during the Perils of Ice Mountain quest. To progress further in the quest, you must help the Professor collect them by using an Icefiend net. Level 10 Hunter is required to catch them. Aside from the quest, these icefiend babies serve no purpose. During the quest, the examine states "It looks like the poor little thing is melting!"
