A pineapple ring is a food item that is obtained by using a knife on a pineapple and choosing "slice," or by having a knife in the toolbelt and simply choosing "slice." This will result in four pineapple rings. Eating a pineapple ring will heal 20 life points. Players can choose to dice a pineapple instead, resulting in Pineapple chunks. It is used for making gnome drinks.
A Pineapple ring can be used with a Plain pizza to make a Pineapple pizza with level 65 Cooking.
Pineapple rings are often used by players training on the Ape Atoll Agility Course due to the Pineapple Tree growing near the end of the course. Players must bring a knife or have one in his or her toolbelt in order to use this method.
If cutting a pineapple for healing, it is STRONGLY recommended to cut it into rings. The pineapple rings and chunks heal for the same amount, but dicing a pineapple will result in 1 set of chunks, which translates to 20 LP healed. In comparison, cutting a pineapple into 4 rings heals 80 LP total.
