Ali Cats

The Ali Cats are a criminal information network active primarily in Pollnivneach, a small settlement in the central Kharidian Desert. The group consists primarily of orphaned street urchins, many of which can be found wandering the town. The group is referred to most explicitly in issue 42 of Postbag from the Hedge, although evidence of their acitivity can be seen throughout the town in-game.

The only known member of the Ali Cats referred to by name is Ali Dodger, who responds to a player-written letter in Postbag from the Hedge issue 42. According to Ali, the group specializes in extra-legal activity such as basic theft, information gathering, and the intimidation of those opposed to their employers. The group's many members are cared for by an unknown elderly man who lives in Pollnivneach. According to Ali, business has been thriving in recent times.
