The 10th anniversary cake is one of the Limited Edition Items. They were released to celebrate the 10th anniversary of RuneScape.

They were dropped by almost any monster in Misthalin and Asgarnia, or more specifically, the area between Rimmington and the Sawmill. They were also obtained in a special "around the world" drop party held by a Jagex Moderator.

If they were used with 10 10th anniversary candles lit with a tinderbox will unlock the "Celebrate" option which performs an emote for RuneScape's 10th anniversary. The 10 candles have to be lit after placing them on the cake.

The cake and candles can no longer be obtained from killing monsters; Diango will keep your lit cake, and will also sell the celebration cake, a similar item that is not limited-edition.

If you destroy the cake or lose it, Diango in Draynor Village will replace it as with all the other holiday event items. Diango will also replace cakes that have had candles placed on them, though only after they have been placed manually by the player.

Eating the cake heals 5 Lifepoints. You cannot eat the cake once you have placed candles on it, or after you light it. The cake has three states. With unlit candles, with lit candles, or with no candles. The cake with lit candles may be stored in the Toy box.

It has a special emote "Celebrate". The unlit cake appears in mid-air, spins and falls. The player catches the cake, with candles unlit. If the player is wearing a cape, they cover the cake with it, and when the player reveals the cake again, the candles are lit.
