Trickster armour

Full Trickster

Trickster armour is a hybrid armour set, released on 23 August 2011, and requires level 85 Magic, level 85 Ranged, and level 85 Defence to wear. It is an untradeable set of armour obtained by playing minigames, and outside of minigames is purely cosmetic. Inside the Castle Wars, Soul Wars, Fist of Guthix, and TzHaar Fight Pits minigames, the armour gives good bonuses to ranged and magic attack, and ranged and magic defence (roughly equivalent to the magic attack and defence of Virtus armour, and the ranged attack and defence of Pernix armour, with no melee defence). However, this set has no melee bonuses whatsoever making it much more useful in minigames involving more magic and ranged combat such as Fist of Guthix rather than a more melee-based minigame such as Soul Wars.

When all five parts of the set are worn, it gives a 15% damage bonus to all attacks on other players. Note that although a helmet cannot be worn in Castle Wars, the bonus damage will be in affect if the trickster helm has been obtained. Because of this very large bonus, this set of armour is considered very powerful and can be extremely useful in combat-based minigames where causing as much damage as possible is preferable to melee defence bonuses. Because of the lack of melee bonuses, this set of robes can be considered a berserker set for sacrificing melee defence and attack bonuses for very good attack and defence bonuses in both ranged and magic.
