The Taverley Incident was an attack on Taverley planned by Carn the beastmaster who wanted to unravel the secrets of Summoning. The entire attack was a distraction as his real goal was to kidnap Pikkupstix, master of Summoning. Although the attack was eventually warded off, Carn succeeded and brought Pikkupstix to Daemonheim. Ariane, Ozan and Sir Owen were sent to hunt him down, which happens during Three's Company.
