This is a documentation subpage for Template:Colour. It contains usage information, categories, and other content that is not part of the original template page.

This is used to change the colour of the text. Place {{Colour|#(colour code, ex. #000000) or (colour name, ex. red)|The text to be coloured}} on the page for coloured text.

If you want to change the background colour as well, please place {{Colour|#(colour code, ex. #000000) or (colour name, ex. red)|The text to be coloured|Background colour}} on the page.

To change only the background colour as well, place {{Colour||The text to be coloured|Background colour}} on the page.
