Examine text | A skeleton, reanimated by a necrolord! |
The Skeletal minion is a dungeoneering monster summoned by the Necrolord. One minion per party member is summoned at a time (so soloers get one minion and a full group gets five), and they remain until defeated or all players leave the room. Protect from Melee or Deflect Melee is a MUST once they respawn. Players could choose to continue attacking the Necrolord, but if the player teleports out of the room then the skeletons will disappear in a short period of time, similar to how Nomad's clones work. They attack fast, and can deal extremely high damage for their level, and protection prayers only provide partial protection from their attacks. It is entirely possible for these skeletons to kill players in 3 hits, particularly in higher levelled teams. Arguably, their attacks are more powerful then the Necrolord's. Furthermore, they can also block the path of magic and ranged attacks, similar to Brawlers in Pest Control. Therefore, the best strategy when soloing is to stand right next to the wall, so the skeletons will spawn behind you and not block your hits.
WARNING: in a 5:5 high levelled team, these minions can hit upwards of 400 damage each. Five of them attacking a player at once will nearly guarantee a death unless prayer is on.
