The Sea Slug Conflicts are a series of ongoing wars waged by Mother Mallum, a Sea Slug of unknown origins, and a variety of forces, most prominently the Temple Knights. The conflicts ended for some time in roughly Year 2000 of the Third Age, but resumed in Year 169 of the Fifth Age, more than 4,000 years later.

The majority of the Sea Slug Conflicts took place during the God Wars. Taking advantage of the chaotic war that engulfed Gielinor, Mother Mallum used her forces to corrupt, control, and combat virtually any significant force they could find. The goal ultimately seems to have been nothing short of complete world-domination. After being sealed within an underground cave network by the Temple Knights in Year 2000 of the Third Age, Mallum and her forces fell into a deep hibernation.

In the Year 169 of the Fifth Age, Mallum's bizarre species of slug re-emerged in the Southern Sea, taking the Kandarin Fishing Platform with no resistance. They moved on to Witchaven, near East Ardougne, and their current plans remain unknown. The modern portion of the Sea Slug Conflicts is featured heavily in the Sea Slug quest series. nl:Sea Slug Conflicts
