Template:ExtLink/doc

This is a documentation subpage for Template:ExtLink. It contains usage information, categories, and other content that is not part of the original template page.

This is a "work around" template that is to help form external links inside templates or to fix what appears to be a bug with the MediaWiki software to create an external link when all of the data appears to be correct.

Usage

This template can be used by entering the following onto a relevant Woodcutting axe page.

a properly formed URL (Universal Resource Link-- usually a web page address) that links to some content of interest in the article

(optional) = What text will substitute in the place of the URL when displayed within the Wiki markup
