Lizardmen are a race possibly scheduled to be added to RuneScape. They were mentioned briefly in the original members announcement and the Behind the Scenes article<ref>Jagex. "Upcoming RuneScape updates". 31 March 2004. RuneScape News. *</ref> on 31 March 2004. They are one of several updates on the list of updates that have yet to be released, although Jagex maintains that they intend to add everything on this list eventually. Paul recently explained that they aren't too eager to develop them because they would look too similar to dragonkin.
