The Hangman
The Hangman was a combat ship controlled by Rabid Jack, the infamous pirate lord responsible for the Battle of the Archipelago. During the Rocking Out quest, a cutscene suggests that the Hangman was destroyed during the battle, although it may have recently been revived along with much of Jack's fleet.
During one of the quest's final cutscenes, Bosun Giles can be heard telling Jack the status of many of his ships. According to him, the Hangman was taking on heavy water by the time Jack's ship, This Albatross, was being boarded.
Following the battle, the pirates of Mos Le'Harmless executed Jack's entire fleet and disposed of his possessions. The ship was likely destroyed during or after the battle, and its owner is still unknown. Recently, Jack's deceased fleet seem to have returned as the undead, and ships such as The Inebriated returned alongside their captains. It is likely the Hangman will play a future role in the pirate quest series.
It is now stationed north of Harmony Island, filled with zombie pirates and Mi-Gor.
