A Helm can be worn in the Headwear Slot. These helmets offer lesser protection then their Full counterparts, but are sometimes used by mages and rangers as they do not penalise Ranged or Magic bonuses as much as full helms while providing good defensive bonuses. The majority of players, however, choose Full helms, despite the negative Ranged and Magic bonuses.
