Emerald Benedict is a non-player character who wanders around the south-west corner of the Rogue's Den. He runs a bank, and players can interact with him as they can with any other banker.
The Rogue's Den is found under Burthorpe's Inn. He is walking around a fire that never goes out, which is why this is a perfect spot for training cooking. You can bank very quickly and you will be cooking on the everlasting fire. You can train extremely fast when you bank as he comes near the fire. Some players are even training Fletching or Firemaking here, also for the fast banking.
You can also train thieving here at 4 spots where it is possible to obtain gems and coins. Emerald Benedict is close to these spots, so its also a good spot for obtaining gems.
To lure him you must talk to him and run away as soon as the chat box pops up. He will walk around the room at random but after a few tries you can get him near the fire.
