Tinse Torpe is one of the archaeologists working within the Varrock Museum in Varrock. Though he can be seen in free worlds, he can only be talked to by members who have completed The Dig Site quest.
If given an artefact, he will provide some museum kudos. Items are given by using the artefact on him. Kudos are needed for an island that has yet to be released.
He also provides experience lamps which give 1000, 2000 or 10000 experience in any skill above 30.
